"Castle Carolina"

WOW! Let me tell you about Gale Hinton! She is magnificent! A pure artist, a visionary, an inspiration! She has painted murals for us in 2 previous homes, but this is truly the piece de resistance.
Caroline requested a Castle for her playroom at our new home. This particular room has two distinct areas, so Gale made the interior space "Castle Carolina" and the exterior is obviously the outer castle and surrounding majestic grounds. Absolutely Spectacular!
We are so excited that Caroline will be playing in this dreamland! This is such a special place for our daughter's imagination to take flight. We cannot wait to share it with her cousins, Skylar and Savannah and all of her friends. I see many fun slumber parties in our future!

I love the reflection of the horse.

Hurst Hilton Head Trip 2011

Soooo much fun! We just got back from Hilton Head with Nana and Pop. The week was full of beautiful beach, tasty food, ice cream, sand dollars and saloning! Caroline's latest game to play is "Salon-er." She wants to put you in a salon chair, brush, dry and style your hair. She loves to do makeup and paint nails! So, Nana and Pop got to be her "new customers" for the week!
The weather was fabulous! A bit windy and rainy the first day, but gorgeous after that. Caroline was so brave on the beach! She loves the "big boy" waves and playing in the sand. She made us lots of sand "samples" to eat and buried toys.
The restaurants in Hilton Head are so yummy! I believe we enjoyed every meal that we had! Lots of seafood and ice cream!
The best part of the trip is of course, just being with family and watching Caroline learn, love and laugh her heart out!

On the way with "squishy babies!"

Lots of Reading!

At Hudson's, Caroline's favorite server, Borg, brought her a strawberry daiquiri! After that it was Mississippi Mud Pie, followed by a dance of joy!

Going out for last delicious dinner
Can't wait to go back!
