As Summer Winds Down...

As Summer winds down, Caroline doesn't even know that these long days will shorten and splashing in the puddles will soon become painting holiday pumpkins. I love her precious bliss, her innocence and I love her joy for life! She is the purest joy I have ever known.

Life is Good

This weekend has been full of fun for Miss Caroline. She got dressed up and spent an evening with her Pop and Nana on Friday. Then, this evening we went to the Rzezuto's home for swimming and dinner. She loved seeing her MiMi and thought the new cheerleading dress she gave her was "So Cute!" Uncle Jack played in the pool with Caroline. He jumped in, and she kept saying, "one more time" wanting him to do it again. She also tried to imitate him blowing bubbles in the water, which was hilarious. Drew grilled some delicious chicken and Sandy and Becky made a wonderful meal. James enjoyed his time by the pool with Rod and Bentley. Highlights for Caroline were feeding Bentley a bone, looking at Sandy's Snow Village's and digging into Drew's Red Velvet birthday cake! She was so wound up that she talked the entire way home. Once we got her into the tub for a much needed wash, she just about fell asleep. She started to recline in the water and said, "laying down, laying down." We quickly got her in her cute footed honey bee sleeper and "laid her down" in her crib.

Visit With Friends

If it weren't for Carla and Bill, their would be no Minde and James! This past weekend we went to visit our good friends who introduced us to each other. Every time we see them, we realize how much we wish they still lived in Knoxville. We had yummy dinners, fun at the pool and great late night conversations! Caroline enjoyed Sophie and her toys! The girls danced, colored and played kitchen. A highlight of the weekend was a trip to the local ice cream store!

A DUCKY DAY!

Caroline wanted to play in this old duck bath toy, so why not add water? She thought she was REALLY "Simmin!"

What a Weekend!

This weekend started with a surprise visit from Caroline's Grandpa. She was so happy to see him, as you can see.
I took her to the park and climbed on playground equipment like an agile child, which I surly am not! She loves to slide and play with the"apples"-abacus. On Saturday, our great friends, the Coynes came over for dinner. It was wonderful to get our families together. Bella gave a lovely blessing for our meal and Caroline gave us 3 Amens during the prayer. Brody is quite a doll. He is extremely funny and easy going. Bella and Caroline gave piano performances in the playroom. We were impressed with Bella's singing. With a little Snow White, a ball popper, a lot of dessert and a couple dirty diapers, great memories were made!
