September

Since we have been home from the beach, our adventures have been visiting the pediatrician, looking at more homes, and now trying to catch a stinky skunk who has taken up residence under our house!
The day we got back, Caroline started feeling bad. Taking her to the doctor is like being stabbed in the heart. She did not want him to examine her at all! Hopefully as she gets older it will get easier for her. We stayed in for my birthday and mom brought dinner from Littons-Yummy. Nana and Pop dropped off a fabulous birthday cake and some special smiley face cookies at the back door. Those cookies were the best medicine for Caroline.
Uncle Jack also came to visit with "Lo-we." (Lori) Caroline adores them both and had so much fun finding them "underneath" the ottoman.
Our girl is now back to her precious silly self.
We continue to look for a new home and hope for an offer on ours.
And as for the skunk, we're on the hunt!

We just returned from an action packed week in Hilton Head with Caroline's Nana and Pop. I think we heard, "Come on, Nana" and "Hey, Nana" and "PoooP" a thousand adorable times! It was great. Caroline enjoyed the baby pool, shoveling sand onto her "Minnie towel" and going to "Guiseppes." She was so good for the entire week. She took 3 hour naps daily, which gave us the opportunity to visit, have nice lunches on our porch, read and also enjoy a little happy hour! Caroline loved to ride up the "elegator" to our condo on the "top shelf." (top floor) I believe she would be happy to live on ice cream and pancakes. Mostly she loved seeing her Daddy, Nana and Pop everyday! What a treat! One lovely morning, she woke up super early and I took her out on the balcony. She and I watched the sun come up over the water and discussed the beautiful colors in the sky. It will definitely be my favorite memory of the trip.
