Meece Visit

Tyler, Becca and the girls came through town last weekend. It also happened to be Ty's birthday, so got to celebrate with dinner and cake! Seeing them 2 months in a row was awesome! Skylar and Savannah were so sweet and Caroline is definitely missing everyone this week!

Father's Day

For Father's Day, Caroline and I took James to the movies! He loves to see movies, so I thought it would be fun for him to introduce her to the movie theatre. She was speechless when he carried her in to that monstrosity called, The Pinnacle! It was actually a new experience for me and James to go at 10:30 on a Saturday. There were kids with candy, kids with pillows, blankets and teddy bears, kids talking, kids crying and laughing! It was great!! Toy Story was fabulous! Caroline switched from one lap to the other during the entire movie. She ate snacks, talked out loud and sucked a huge blue lollipop. Super fun!

On Sunday we were able to celebrate with Pop and Grandpa. Caroline enjoys them so much! I am so happy that she has such loving family!

So, I finally talked James into getting a dog! Let's all pray this story ends well...

Duncan is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is 8 months old and weighs in at 16 pounds. The best word to describe him would be, "chill." We are crossing our fingers, but so far we've had no accidents in the house, no crying and only 2 little barks. His favorite activity is lounging in a lap. He is sooo good. Caroline is thrilled though cautious. She wants him, but doesn't know quite what to do with him. This evening, she showed him each of his toys and explained to him what they are. Hopefully they will become the best of buddies.

HILTON HEAD

We just returned from a beach vacation with my family. We had a blast!! The weather was perfect all week. We loved our house and being able to be all together! Our sweet niece, Skylar, is such a joy! (even when she's sick) Savannah is precious, so strong and sooo vocal!

James and I loved every second of our daughter's experience! Caroline really took to the beach. She said it was "huge!" She made everyone "star cookies" in the sand, jumped over the waves and became more fearless as the week went on.
